Electrical Safety Testing

All electrical and electronic products sold in markets around the world must demonstrate that they function according to existing electrical safety regulations & standard. These standards and Specifications vary from country to country, with varying degrees of complexity. So the manufacturer needs to test their products to determine if they meet minimum safety levels. Our safety testing facilities offer assessment and testing to IEC, EN, IS, ANSI and other International country standards and regulations on a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment. We are continually expanding our capability to cover an increasingly broad range of standards.

Electrical Safety Analyzer

Electrical safety analyzer is a versatile Equipment which Performs:a) Insulation Resistance test from  50V to 1000Vb) Ground Bond test up to 42 Amps RMSc)  Dielectric  Strength test  up to 6KV.

Life Cycle Testing

Life Cycle Tester is used to charge and discharge batteries of different ratings and types. It has facility to set the number of cycles for charging and discharging. In charging mode, charging current can be adjusting from 0 to maximum 25Amps. After charging the battery is automatically connected to the discharging mode. The discharging current can be adjusted from 0 to 50Amps. The battery is discharged at constant current till it reaches the end of discharge voltage.

Testing Panel

Test Panel is used to determine single phase and three phase current, voltage, power factor, Wattage etc. Which are very important to verify the Input power and current of the device or appliance which is under test.

Impulse Voltage Testing

Impulse voltage test is used to determine the effect of very high voltage on insulation due to voltage surges of short durations. Our  Impulse voltage tester generates very short high-voltage surges varying from 0 to 12KV.

Glow Wire Testing Apparatus

Glow wire test apparatus is used to perform tests mentioned in many standards to check Resistance to Fire in Insulating parts or to examine the fire resisting Properties of the products. Loose connections and wrong contacts cause high temperatures on electrical goods, their components and their parts. Attention should also be paid to the related  fire risk, e.g. coming into contact with a ignited cigarette.

Comparative Tracking Index Testing

The Comparative Tracking Index test or CTIT is performed to see the electrical breakdown capacity of a material. By using it we get to know about the CTI value.CTI value is used for electrical safety assessment of electrical apparatus and it can be from 100 to 600 or above.

Cord Guard Flexing Testing Apparatus

Cord Guard flexing test is performed to determine the Suitability of cord guards by measuring the operational life of the cord or testing a sample of guard which is not in compliance with dimensional requirement.

Regulatory Approvals

ITC India Pvt Ltd has alliances in place to offer many Regulatory Approval Services . In most of the cases Test reports issued by ITC india are accepted by the concerned authorities  as such for issuing approvals , in others additional testing are required.

CE Marking

The CE marking indicates a product's compliance with EU legislation and enables the free movement of products within the European market. By affixing the CE marking on a product, a manufacturer is declaring, at its sole responsibility, conformity with all of the legal requirements to achieve CE marking and therefore ensuring validity for that product to be sold throughout the European Economic Area. This also applies to products made in third countries which are sold in the EEA. CE marking is intended for national market surveillance and enforcement authorities, as an indicator of a product's compliance with EU legislation.CE marking means that the product conforms with many EC directives as apply to the product. For example, most electrical or electronic products must comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the EMC Directive.

NRTL Listing

A Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) is a United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) designation given to testing facilities that provide product safety testing and certification services to manufacturers. The testing and certification are done to U.S. consensus-based product safety test standards. These test standards are not developed or issued by OSHA, but are issued by U.S. standards organizations, such as the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The range of products covered is limited to those items for which OSHA safety standards require "certification" by an NRTL.Some of the Organizations currently recognized by OSHA as NRTLs are:MET Laboratories, Inc. (MET)NSF International (NSF)Intertek Testing Services NA, Inc. (ITSNA)

GOST R

The GOST R obligatory certification system appears to be the Federal agency for technical regulation and metrology. This agency is a part of the structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (RF).This GOST R obligatory certification system is aimed at providing the Customer with safety and high quality of products and services. This right of the Customer for safety and quality is guaranteed by obligatory certification of not only native but as well foreign produce. Produce that enters the territory of the Russian Federation and that is subject to obligatory certification according to the legislation of the Russian Federation must meet the requirements of Russian certification system.

Kindly send us your testing requirements with the product technical details to submit you our testing charges.
